Originally from Ethiopia, Ms. Abebe earned her J.D. from the Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, France. She completed her Master of Laws (L.L.M.) at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law School. While working toward her L.L.M. Ms. Abebe served as a Graduate Editor for the Journal of Civil Law Studies. She also served as a law student representative at the LSU / Catholic Charities conjoined Immigration Legal Services Clinic. Ms. Abebe is fluent in French and Amharic.
